First challenge

Ive just joined a new group from etsy, Aspiring metalsmiths. ANd they are already offering a our first challenge. I need something that is going to push me. Most everything I have accomplished has been at my own pace and erratic notions. so I think this will most definitely be good for me.
I have been eye balling this hollow ring tutorial for a bout 3 weeks, and I am going to to try it. The actual challenge is over the 19th so I need to have it completed and photographed for the 19 so what 10 days? I can do that. I will keep you posted on how things are going. Pictured is the Pyritzed Ammonite for the hollow ring.
